Today, Salud Carbajal’s campaign for the 24th Congressional District, released a new television ad exposing Justin Fareed’s politically calculating move, attempting to distance himself from Donald Trump.
Justin Fareed endorsed Donald Trump for President in the Montecito Journal in May of this year. After months of criticism for Fareed’s endorsement of Donald Trump, he is only now pulling his support for the candidate after public outrage over now infamous tapes were released of Donald Trump bragging about sexual assault.
In the past few days, Trump has been accused of sexually assaulting two women, hitting on 10-year-old girls and walking in on “half-naked” Miss USA contestants.
Fareed seems to think that since pulling his support for Donald Trump this week, he is off the hook from disavowing the latest revelations about a candidate he’s supported for months.
“Justin Fareed supported Donald Trump after he launched his campaign by insulting Mexicans, repeatedly degraded women, insulted POWs and Gold Star families,” Salud Carbajal commented. “Only now that he sees Donald Trump as a liability to his campaign, has Fareed pulled his support. Justin Fareed has clearly demonstrated to voters that he values his own election over standing up for Central Coast values.”
